Were you obsessed with sex while trying to conceive?
Sometimes falling pregnant isn't the easiest thing in the world. Sure, humans have been breeding for millennia, and everyone knows that girl who ate whatever she liked, drank whatever she liked and smoked 5 packets of cigarettes a day and still fell pregnant by sneezing! It's frustrating.
And it can become a frustration in your relationship. You're tracking your menstrual cycle almost manically, watching what you eat, taking multivitamins for conception and all of this madness inevitably spills over into the bedroom. The next thing you know you're scheduling time for sex and while at first the hubby might be all for this idea of more sex, he may end up feeling like a sperm donor and the romance can fly out of the window pretty fast.
So while the advice to "just relax" seems like complete madness to someone who has been trying to conceive for 2 years, it may be the best advice. Stop actively trying. Let go. It could happen. But if it's been more than a year you might want to visit your gynae.
