Cradle cap
What is it?

Thick yellow flakes on your baby’s scalp are usually an indicator of cradlecap. It can spread to eyebrows too, but although it doesn’t look great it isharmless and will disappaear of its own accord within a few months.

What to do

The scales can be softened with baby oil or olive oil, and combed away gently. It can help to revert to washing your baby’s hair with just warm water for awhile, especially if the skin is broken and weepy. Don’t use medicated shampoounless your doctor recommends it.
