Hayfever is an allergic reaction in the nose, especially in spring and summer is usually hayfever. It can cause sneezing, a runny nose and itchy, teary eyes.

What to do

Get the hayfever diagnosed by a doctor, who may prescribe an antihistamine to relieve the symptoms. You will get to know what affects your child most, and as much as possible reduce her exposure to pollen and grasses by planting carefully in your own garden. Hayfever often runs in families, especially if both parents suffer from allergies.
