Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)

An infection of the system that makes urine and carries it out fo the body. 

Symptoms:

  • Fever
  • Diarrhoea
  • Vomiting
  • Lack of energy
  • Burning or pain when passing urine
  • Passing urine often
  • Pain in the lower back or abdomen
  • Bed wetting at night, and urine is reddish, pinkish or smoky.

Seriousness:

  • Make an appointment with the doctor.

Treatment:

  • Antibiotics.
  • Plenty of water which dilutes the urine and eases the pain of passing urine.
