South African teacher Thembinkosi Tera Mkonko recently shared this video of him teaching his South Korean students the infamous gumboot dance, and it's been watched thousands of times for a good reason.

Gumboot dancing stems from South African workers who worked in the gold mines during the Apartheid period. The mineworkers used gumboot dancing to express themselves, making rhythms and beats with their bodies, gumboots, and chains.
