Harry Potter at Home

JK Rowling, the author and creator of the popular Harry Potter magical instalments, recently announced the launch of a virtual hub for kids, CNN reports.
The online site aims to not only “cast a banishing charm on boredom” but to also keep children entertained and educated during lockdown using a little bit of magic.
“Parents, teachers and carers working to keep children amused and interested while we’re on lockdown might need a bit of magic, so I’m delighted to launch http://harrypotterathome.com,” the 54-year-old author captioned a tweet.
Google 3D animals
Bring the zoo to your living room with these realistic Google 3D animals. See a variety of animals, from lions to pandas and tigers, all through augumented reality (AR) which enables children to experience wildlife in real-time.
All you need is a smartphone that has AR compatibility and to search for the animal you’re looking for, such as a giant panda, according to 9to5Google.
Google will return the results of your search and just below that will be an option to “Meet the life-sized giant panda up close” and voilà, you’ve got a panda in your living room.

National Geographic for Kids
From learning about the novel coronavirus, human anatomy, and the environment, the NatGeoKids site is filled with a plethora of information to educate your little ones.
The website also contains interesting facts about history, animals, geography, science and fun games.
Virtual museum
Treat your little ones to a virtual museum trip with the help of Google Arts and Culture. The site collaborated with some of the world’s most prominent museums, from the Van Gogh Museum in the Netherlands to the national contemporary art museum in Korea.

Arts for Kids hub
Do you have a little Picasso in the making that needs to constantly sharpen their art skills, then Arts for Kids hub is exactly what you need.
These online hubs not only allow your young ones to practice drawing to their heart's content through their amazing drawing library, but they also list the required drawing utensils for every lesson.
