'A hug, and a bug, and a stick-stick-stug,' my mother and I used to say, giving each other big hugs and rubbing our noses together. And now that I am a mom, I just love to hug and kiss my sons, pretty much as often as they'll let me.
What I miss about having small babies is how their bodies curl up into yours and you can wrap them in your love physically. But then, I do adore my big guy hugs from my teen, so tall I have to stand on my toes to kiss his cheek.
