Blowing out the candles
Each year is another chance to make parenting matter.
The Parent24 team, all smiles for our first birthday.
My youngest son just turned 10. TEN! Yes, we had 5 different parties and my carpet will never be the same. But I mean, TEN!

Each landmark that flies by makes me cling to hope that what I'm doing is okay, that I am giving my sons everything they need to equip them to handle a world that isn't always as nice, easy or friendly as it should be.

Will they use their gifts wisely, will they be courageous but not foolhardy, soft-hearted but not spineless? And isn't that all a bit much to lay on a 10-year-old?

Today is also the 1st birthday of Parent24, a community that every day helps me to feel stronger and less alone as a parent just trying to do my best. Thanks for being a part of it.
