Fried green bananas
A wanna-be chef has invaded my kitchen. Good stuff!

There's a wok full of frying bananas in my kitchen, and a thin dusting of curry powder over the newly-mopped floor.

My 11-year-old has decided he likes cooking. But only the complicated kind involving loads of spices, oil, cream and mess...

I'm hoping that steamed brocolli will eventually become part of his repertoire.
