'Dad, will you iron my school shirt?'
My sons often ask Dad to iron, I suspect because he is better at it than Mom is. But if something needs to be painted, there's no-one to call but Mom.
This doesn't mean we've switched roles. He does plumbing, I do sewing. Our skills seem to fit together, most of the time.
Which is why I'm amazed at how angry people can get when talking on our forum about men and women's roles.
