It started with a slice of watermelon, pink and peppered with pips.
And then the summer feelings kicked in hard: long days beside the cricket field instead of muddy mornings of soccer; walking in the evenings past the park full of kids and parents instead of one shivering man and his dog; and sweeping out drifts of beach sand that come in on body boards and beach towels.
Our family have got that summer feeling for sure!
