The furry family member

For years my mom would have to step over her dog to get out of the bedroom. It was a daily annoyance, but she misses that solid presence now that he is gone.

And one of my neighbours regularly walks her Siamese cat on a leash.

They can make us act in strange ways, but pets and humans make for a powerful love.
