What I would tell baby mama me
If I had another baby, here's what I would do differently.
Adele Hamilton, Editor Parent24
If I could visit myself when my kids were babies, here's what I'd tell me:
- Don't jiggle that baby to sleep. He doesn't need it and you'll be exhausted for 9 months straight.
- Put a bit more effort into your walks with the pram and you might fight off a decade of flab. Oh, and lay off the toasted peanut butter and banana sarmies.
- Don't be shy to speak Afrikaans to the baby, he'll learn both languages and you'll save on extra lessons.
- You're a good enough mommy, don't cry so much about the odd mistake.
