100th issue and still going strong
Source

Here at Your Pregnancy and Your Baby mags we really are surrounded by babies, babies everywhere. We are looking forward to the birth of our designer Portia Segalo’s son in December. Our sister mag Baba & Kleuter’s deputy editor and our office manager Maphuti are both having sons in new year too. Our most favourite make-up artist and hair stylist Tamzin Reynolds is having twin boys next year (after many years of trying – our hearts are just so happy for her and her husband!) And my own niece is having her first son in December. So in light of all this impending boyness, we were also just thrilled that our ex-colleague and longtime contributor Tori Hoffmann gave birth to her third child and first daughter: Rachel Audrey. Audrey is the name of Tori’s mom whom she had lost to cancer just a month before. Isn’t that just the ultimate in hope and renewal? We are so privileged to hear your stories of triumph and happiness and see your bump pics, and the pics of your babies absolutely make our day. We are also humbled to be putting this 100th issue to bed and blessed to have our launch editor Tina Otte still involved in SA’s only magazine focused solely on pregnancy and newborns. To celebrate this milestone we asked Tina to look at birth as it was then and as it is now and we rounded up 100 amazing things about pregnancy. But mainly, we once again have hopefully produced a magazine bursting with information to help you through this wonderful journey.

Have a great new year everyone!
