Fitness model Chontel Duncan posted a photo comparing her 21 week preggie belly along side her good friend Nat, who is 5 weeks ahead of her.

The comparison is astounding. Duncan is much taller than her friend and is obviously someone who works out every day of her life. But as she says in her caption: "Each women carries different and this most certainly doesn't mean one is doing something wrong or not healthy etc. We both have healthy growing babies & we both have had incredible pregnancies so far, feeling amazing & full of energy."

I was surprised with a cute visit today from a friend Nat who is also expecting ?? Just being able to see someone in the flesh, rub her tummy, hear how incredible her journey has been so far, how healthy baby is & all the fun talk about kicks, food, names etc was beautiful. This is Nat's 3rd pregnancy so she had a lot of great advice to share ?? It's very clear in this photo just how tall I am, I mean my chin sits above Nat's head lol We worked out that we are 4 weeks apart, so our little ones will be the same age, same grade at school and potential best buds hehehehe..... Nat's due start of March & I'm due end of March. Each women carries different and this most certainly doesn't mean one is doing something wrong or not healthy etc. We both have healthy growing babies & we both have had incredible pregnancies so far, feeling amazing & full of energy. #21.5weeks #expecting #march2016 #pregnant #love #happiness #Babyduncan

We think both moms-to-be look beautiful and are carrying their pregnancies gorgeously. And Duncan is absolutely correct: both moms are beautiful and healthy.

In April last year, model Sarah Stage caught some flack for having almost no baby bump when she was due to give birth in just a couple days time, people were waiting to see how small the baby would be. But Sarah gave birth to a healthy 3.9kg baby boy showing that the size of the bump has nothing to do with the health and size of the baby.

So often pregnant women bemoan the fact that they pick up so much weight and wish that they only thing they picked up was a tiny little baby bump.

But your body is doing an amazing thing and building a whole other human being! That is special and something that should be celebrated.
