Stop touching my preggie-belly!

accreditation
It’s hard enough adjusting to your changing shape. Some pregnant women feel great about themselves, and love sharing off their baby bumps. Others are left feeling insecure as the clothes in their wardrobes don’t quite make the grade, and they’re forced to scrounge around for anything that fits. When you do go out to the local mall, a school function or a family get-together, your baby bump is suddenly open territory- everyone from colleagues to total strangers will pat, stroke or squeeze your body.

Yes- it’s entirely possible that someone you don’t know will come up to you, and touch you. Maybe you’re happy with that, but most women bristle at this invasion of their personal space.

“Back up, buddy!” They want to shout- “that’s MY body!”

What do you think about people thinking it’s ok to touch your baby bump?
