11 times pregnancy is the worst

If you've ever watched the 2012 comedy What to Expect When You're Expecting, then you'll you know that pregnancy doesn't always go according to plan.

If you haven't seen it, then do yourself a favour and watch it. It's hilarious.

The movie follows numerous couples all in different phases of becoming parents. The couple that are struggling to fall pregnant, the couple planning to adopt, the perfect pregnancy, the scared father - it's all there. It reminded me that everyone goes through the process of becoming parents in different ways, at different times and with different outcomes.

Recently while browsing Instagram, I spotted a pregnant mom lamenting about the fact that she was ready to have her baby, mere weeks into her pregnancy. Her pregnancy was harder than she had previously experienced and as much as he looked forward to having her baby at the end of those 9 months, right then at that moment, she was over it.

At the end of her post, this mom used the hashtag #pregnancysucks and she's not the only one who feels that way. The tag contains numerous posts of women who have had enough of fighting with their bodies. This doesn't mean that these ladies don't want their babies or don't want to be mothers - they simply don't enjoy being pregnant. And that's perfectly okay.
