When you consider purchasing a baby shower gift, the usual gifts like blankets or nappies come to mind. I don't know about you but I never consider buying a diamond ring.
A company called Diamond Candles thinks it's a great idea. Their entire business revolves around selling overpriced soy candles that MIGHT contain a $5000 diamond ring. More than likely though, you'll get a $10 costume jewellery ring.
Diamond Candles also stock candles especially for baby shower gifts. One for girls and one for boys.
The 'It's a Boy Ring Candle' smells like soft powder, bubble bath, and honey-vanilla. The 'It's a Girl Ring Candle' smells like "a delicate medley of white carnations, fresh powder, and violets". And of course they both contain rings.
Are they worth it?
YouTuber, BudgetSavvyDiva, did a video on whether or not she considers the rings worth the costly $25 (excluding shipping). You can watch her video below.
