3-year-old girl donates her hair to cancer patients
Three-year-old girl really gets the meaning of 'hair care' in her support of cancer patients.
When it was time for three-year-old Emily’s first haircut she decided to donate her hair to a wig shop affiliated with the
Canadian Cancer Society
Her parents, Richard and Amy, had explained to her that cancer is a sickness
and that kids who suffer from it sometimes lose their hair. They told Emily that there is a way she can help them."One cut for me, and one for Dolly"
Emily was excited to “share her hair
”, but she had one condition: Her uncle Matthew, who owns a hair salon, must cut her doll Dolly’s hair too.
In the video Emily says: "Sometimes kids get sick and their hair falls out. That's really, really sad. I want to give them my hair, because I have more and more hair."
