Meet Miles.

Miles is an adorable 5-year-old boy who loves superheroes and whose leukemia is currently in remission.

According to Buzzfeed, all Miles ever wanted was to be Batman, fight crime and take down the bad guys.

Thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Miles's dream came true.

For one day the city of San Francisco became Gotham City while Miles saved the day dressed as "Batkid". And he even had his every own BatMobile!

More than 11000 Make-A-Wish volunteers worked to make his special dream come true and the citizens of San Francisco  took part too. Not to mention news stations and the police department.

Even President Obama was watching the fun unfold via Twitter.

Busy Batkid

Batkid and his sidekick, Batman had a lot on their plate. They responded to calls about damsels in distress and kidnapped mascots. They fought The Riddler and The Penguin. They even took a break for lunch because fighting crime is really hard work.
