On a "normal day" parenting is tiring. We nag, yell, clean up, negotiate and argue with our kids.

At the end of the day when both my kids are finally asleep, I often find myself a little shell shocked and in need of a strong cup of tea.

It's in these quiet moments that I reflect on what I could've done differently that day and how my 3-year-old son must think I am such a junk mommy!

But whenever I've voiced these thoughts he's adamantly reassured me with tight hugs that I'm in fact not a junk mommy.

And I wonder if he really doesn't think so or if he's just saying that to make me feel better.

But after watching the video below, it made me realise that perhaps kids see the world and their parents in a totally and more forgiving light than we do.
