Da boss
You think you know it all.

You expect the school to fall in with your child’s needs rather than him or her fitting in. You are always the first to criticise the teacher, but are never willing to listen. You believe that all the other children are inferior to yours, and are convinced that you know how everything should be done. The teacher’s time is wasted on fitting in with your every desire.

Pros: You clearly care a lot about the environment your child is in. You are often present, won’t miss any problems, and are your child’s most ardent supporter.

Cons: You’re a pain in the teacher’s neck, and your demands are distracting. You make the teacher feel inadequate, and confuse the child who doesn’t know whether to trust the teacher since you think she’s a moron.

Action: Try to zip your lip and see things from the teacher’s side sometimes. Realise that she has 20 kids to think about, and can’t adjust the whole system just for yours. Give a little praise now and again when you do think she’s doing well, and you will find that your requests are met with more enthusiasm.

Not quite right? Go back and find another profile that’s more appropriate.
