Especially for single moms

The going can get really tough when you’re on your own and have no one to act as your ’buffer’ between a rough day at work and fetching your baby from daycare/creche. On days like this it really helps to have one friend or family member whom you can regularly call to let off steam, before you connect with your baby. This way your child won’t bear the brunt of your bad day and you will learn to switch from working woman to loving mom with greater ease.
The reward will be enriched bonding time - and none of that guilt for snapping at your child because you’re just too stressed out not to. (And, hey, we’ve all been there...)
