Kid shaves head instead of combing hair
Small boy mistakes clippers for comb with predictably hilarious results.

Who doesn’t enjoy a good comb? I know I used to- although I haven’t had hair since the late 90s. I do recall an incident in school where I tried to groom my eyebrows which ended with having none at all, and again some more incidents with my own kids when cutting their hair that ended with some gaps, but none of those times were caught on video.

Home hackers and brutal barbers

To this day, when I’m the home hairdresser, my kids get upset with me if I say “oops!” while giving them a trim.

I know the regret that this kid will probably feel when he wakes up tomorrow and his hair is just a fond memory. But he’ll have learned a valuable lesson: a set of clippers is not a comb, even if it looks and feels similar. And, hopefully, his parents will have learned to stash items which could be used for experiments on the high shelves.

The benefit of filming this kind of event is that unlike my generation where my parents would say “well, I guess one day we’ll look back on this and laugh”, we can place the footage online and laugh right away.

Do I hear an “aw, shaaaaaaame!”?

Watch this young boy who thinks he’s combing his hair (but pack all sharp objects away, first).
