What do your kids call their grandparents?
Granny, Gogo or Ouma - each kid has their own preference. We asked our Facebook fans and here are the answers.
What do your kids call their grandparents?

You may have called your own grandparents Granny and Grandpa. Or perhaps you had a name that you made up. Either way, it's a personal way of communicating with your grandparents and now it's your child's turn.

We asked our Facebook fans "What do your kids call their grandparents?" and these are their answers:

My grandparents are called Nanny & Bampa. My husband's grandparents are Ouma & Oupa. I call my own grandparents Nan & Popa and Granny & Grandpa. - Brigitta

I like tradition in my family. The grandparents are called by tamil/telegu word for grandparent. Even though the grandchildren don't necessarily speak tamil/telegu, it's considered respectful. In my husband's family, they are called by their name followed by 'dad' which I think is weird. For instance if the grandfather's name is Jack, the grandchildren call him "Jack dad"! - Desiree

My daughter has an Oupa, Ouma, Gogo and Bunny (she couldn't say Granny when she was learning to talk). - Leanne

My parents are called by their first names. - Tanya

I am coloured and for the fun of it I teach my nieces and nephews to call my mother Gogo. She hates it but they love it! Lol! - Deidre

My husband's side is Ma and Bawa and my parents are Nani and Papa. - Warda
