Probably not as much as this four-year-old boy from Chicago in the US.

According to ABC-7, Caleb Green actually managed to read 100 books in a single day.

Naturally, when the ambitious youngster approached his parents with his goal, it was met with some skepticism.

“I was like, 100, son? That’s a lot of books. So at first, I had the gut reaction to talk him down a little bit but he was like, ‘No, I want to read 100,” his father Sylus Green told CNN.

And with that, they gave Caleb their full support.

The marathon reading session got underway on Saturday and his parents streamed it on Facebook, with thousands joining in to view the challenge.

And when Caleb’s parents realised they didn’t actually have that many children’s books, their friends came to the rescue.

After every 10 books, the family celebrated with a mini victory dance.

Having achieved his goal, Caleb has set his sights on something a little different.

Speaking to KCRG-TV he said, “I want to be a basketball player. When I am 22 I want to be an astronaut and when I’m 23 I want to be a Ninja Turtle.”
