Mother's Day is this coming Sunday and a well-kept tradition is making mom breakfast in bed. Mother's Day was one of the few times in the year I was excited to get up early. Here are a few child-friendly (some might need a little supervision depending on their age) recipes that your kids can make for mom this Sunday.

Fruit parfait

Layer muesli, yoghurt and fruit in a pretty glass.

Brew up her favourite coffee or tea

Coffee and teas come in lovely flavours. Serve it up in a pretty cup and saucer.

Make her some muffins

Use a pre-mix muffin mix to bake fresh muffins.

Boiled eggs and toast

Eggs and soldiers are a firm favourite and the easiest way for kids to make eggs. Here's how to make perfect boiled eggs.

Finish with some flowers

Have the kids pick some flowers from the garden to add the perfect touch.
