Happy Holidays
The holiday season is fast approaching, what better way to protect yourself than with Swimseal!
We are moving into South Africa’s peak holiday season and the most popular type of destinations? The beach of course, where families and holiday makers bask in the glory of the sun and swim in some of the most beautiful ocean waters in the world. There are a few essentials when embarking on a beach holiday. The two “have-to-have” items are waterproof sunscreen and SwimSeal!

Sunburn.  Being absolute sun worshipers South Africans tend not to take sunburn as seriously as we should. Sunburn can amount to immeasurable damage and discomfort. Let’s be honest, who hasn’t over done the sun tanning on day one in an attempt to be ‘brown’ for the holiday, only to end up like an overripe tomato unable to get in a warm bath because your skin is on fire and end up peeling a few days later? Yup, we are sure we all have done this at least once in our lifetime!   It’s all too easy to get caught out, especially as it can take up to five hours for redness to appear – by which time the damage is done.  We recommend a high factor waterproof sunscreen that you apply repeatedly during the day.

Swimmers Ear.  1 in 10 people will suffer with an ear infection as a result of over-exposure to water.  It’s painful and can mean an end to swimming (read  fun) while the infection clears up (now there’s a hard sell to any child who wants nothing more to splash in the pool or sea). SwimSeal can make sure that ears are protected at all times with a single drop applied to each ear before swimming these drops will make sure that water stays out of the ears, the kids stay in the water and there are no emergency visits to the local doctor or hospital trying to sort out sore and infected ears due to water damage which is entirely preventable.

The rest of the holiday essentials we are sure you have covered. Happy summer everyone!
