Want to feel a whole lot older than you probably are? Watch young kids react to being given a film camera to play with. Although it seems as though digital cameras are relatively new, this short video created by the TheFineBros will remind you that a generation of children is growing up never having seen a film camera.

The selfie generation can’t quite get their heads around it. After all, a digital camera is just a point-and-click device, with photos that can be easily uploaded within seconds. With digital you can take dozens of pictures and just choose the best ones or even edit them. With film you had a limited amount of pictures you could take while at a party or on holiday.

Like the commenters have said: sometimes you only used half the roll so you’d keep it until the next event before finishing the roll and then developing it. That could mean you’d have a roll of film in the camera for over a year. And the pics could be flops. And you’d have to pay huge amounts for them to be developed.

Not much point in doing a selfie if you’re only going to see it this time next year, is there? A generation of kids whose phones have more sophisticated cameras on than the first digital cameras is not buying this old-school tech.

Their reactions are priceless- typical of all of the Kids React videos we've seen.
