Nura and her pony
For this special needs child, befriending a pony has had great results.
The equitherapy (animal assisted therapy using ponies) programme allows Nura to receive physiotherapy and occupational therapy combined.
The therapy is focused on Nura’s special needs and is filled with lots of personal attention.
Nura is laid on her back while her legs are exercised by Mari.
Nura sits in the saddle while supported by Mari and Elias, while Benni leads the way.
Nura experiences the movement of the pony and all her muscles are forced to work.
Nura works very hard and loves feeling the touch of Darling against her skin.
To everyone’s surprise Nura still has tons of energy left at the end of the session.
