Bullied gorilla teaches kids a lesson

After a visit to the zoo, these kids will probably think twice before poking at another animal (or person) ever again.

A gorilla in the Dallas Zoo took it upon himself to teach a group of rather nasty kids, who were visiting on a field trip, a thing or two. The primate calmly sits next to his enclosure's window while the little visitors hurl insults at him like "ugly" and other mean phrases. The result, which you can see in the video below, is fairly hilarious.

I love how he just struts away after he's taught his lesson...

Once a bully, always a bully?

These kids may not have considered calling an animal names as being mean but a bully's a bully, right? Or it could something considered as "harmless" as this turn into something more?

I asked our Facebook users what they would if they knew that their kid was a bully. The answers may shock you.
  • Find out why he feels the need to bully, explain why it is wrong, insist he apologises to the kid. Then therapy. - LindiBleu
  • 'n Goeie pak slae en als is oor. - Tiaan
  • Send her to the rural area to stay with granny. - Mercy
  • No friends, no play dates, no outings, until he can prove to me that he treats other people with respect. - Karen
  • My kids must hope and pray I don't find out. - Estelle
