When kids get hurt at school

accreditation
It's never fun when your kiddie gets hurt. It seems to be worse when mom is at work and you get that awful phone call telling you that your sprog has fallen off of the jungle gym.

We asked our Facebook fans what sort of injuries their kids have come home with.

Here are their answers:

My daughter got the tip of her finger slammed off in the bathroom door. There was lots of bleeding and it took about 2 months to completely heal. - Lize Nel

My daughter broke her arm, cut her jaw open and had her head smacked open with a plastic spade. They survive and usualy don't really remember. - Robyn Lynch

My boy got hit by a swing and needed a few stitches on the forehead. - Cynobrey Jansen

My daughter's finger got caught in the door and lost her nail in process. My son fell whilst imitating Michael Jackson and knocked his chin and needed stitches. Two weeks ago my son and his friend ran into each other which left with a lip that was swollen, but kids are kids! - Candice Japhta

My son broke his foot when he landed wrong after falling off the jungle gym at school - aged 4. When asked why he had jumped from the height he chose he said he had forgotten that gravity would pull him down and that he couldn't fly. - Kath Kenyon Wimbush
