A new adventure from Eoin Colfer, the man who brought us the beloved Artemis Fowl.
Set in Europe, around the same time as the Industrial Revolution, ‘Airman’ follows the adventures and exploits of Conor Broekhart through most of his teenage years.  An aspiring inventor, he and his tutor are desperate to two of the first people to discover the secret of flight.  However, when a terrible crime rocks their kingdom, Conor is framed for murder and sent to prison.  With his tutor dead and Conor desperate to prove himself innocent; but believes the world to have turned against him, Conor plans his escape and embarks on his revenge.

A truly brilliant story, the characters feel incredibly real, the fighting scenes are nothing short of really cool and the plot is full to bursting with wit and humor.
The Old–English setting isn’t usually my type, but I would recommend this real page turner of a book to anyone – Bravo, Eoin Colfer has done it again!!!
