Angelcare AC401 – Movement and sound
For those who would like as much feedback as possible, this one's for you.
Price: R1299

  • Under-the-mattress Sensor Pad detects every movement baby makes
  • Alarm sounds after 20 seconds if absolutely no movement is detected
  • Adjustable sensitivity
  • Optional 'tic" sound to hear baby's movements
  • Sound lights to see and hear baby's sounds
  • Choice between voice activation or continuous sound reception
  • Nursery room temperature display on the Parents unit
  • Alarm vibration option on Parents Unit

After the research was done, this unit came out as the favourite. The main reason was the sensitivity pad which is a huge plus. Recommended by many Mums that are getting extra sleep. For the extra price, we found it worth getting the movement and heat option over the AC 420 and the screen on the Chicco is nice to have, but not essential if you are watching the price.

Availability: Babies R us, Baby City, Dischem

Best for: Those who would like as much feedback as possible. My favourite of the bunch.
