Where can I get it?

We like
While most of us agree that it’s good to inform children about sex, it can still be embarrassing and tricky to know what kind of language to use. This cute, clever and highly accessible book aims to answer all the questions that are of interest to 8 to 13-year-olds.

My 9-year-old son read it from cover to cover, and enjoyed the friendly tone and the clear illustrations and cartoons. I hovered in the area, ready to clarify anything, but although he shared a few things with me, the book seemed to give just the right amount of detail for him.

I was very glad it fell into his hands when it did, before he picks up a lot of nonsense from his friends.

We don't like
My son made the comment that there seemed to be nothing much about the importance of using a condom (I guess he hears that a lot at school), just one short explanation of what they are which seemed a valid criticism.
