Where can I get it?

What we thought about it?

Fact Finder is full of so many cool facts. I loved it and thought it was very enjoyable. There are facts about any subject you can think of. I enjoyed reading about different substances and fabrics.
Here are some of my favourite facts:

  • Nylon was first used only in parachutes but is now used in both stockings and carpets.
  • Brick sizes vary slightly from country to country. The standard brick size in South Africa is 222 x 106 x 73mm.
  • You cannot get Aids by swimming with someone who has Aids, or using the same towels. Neither by using the same toilet or shower, by sharing food or eating with the same cutlery, plates and cups, or by holding hands with someone who has Aids.

Mom’s note: I found this to be a handy basic guide for background for school projects, in simple language children will actually understand, not just copy mindlessly from the internet.

You can win one of 5 copies of this great book here.
