What we thought about it?

When I was pregnant and shopping for toiletries for my baby I would ask other mommy's what the best nappy was. And lotion? What about shampoo and bum cream?

The answer I always got for bum cream was: Sudocrem or Bepanthen. But I'd like to add another to that list, Pure Beginnings.

We got a jar of this to review along with the  wipes but I was hesitant to try it. Once again, because it has quite a strong smell because of the tea tree oil it put me off trying it immediately. But our Sudocrem ran out and my husband pulled this out of the cupboard. And guys, it's great!

It contains baobab extract as well as olive, lavender and tea tree oil. It is an extremely effective barrier cream, and with its natural anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties.

What we loved most about it was how soft it kept our son's bottom and also, how it kept the poop off his bum and in the nappy. No poop sticking to his bum means less chance of him developing a rash.

However I did find that it wasn't that great at treating those very eina nappy rashes that develop and that the Bepanthen had to be used in conjunction with the Pure Beginnings.

It's in the same price range as other bum creams so when it was time to buy more bum cream my husband bought two of these instead of what we had been using.
