What we thought:
For any parent, teacher or professional trying to make sense of Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), this book is a must-have. It clearly describes how you can identify various forms of SPD, what sensory processing actually is and why it is dysfunctional in some children, what types of therapy are beneficial, dietary recommendations, and how to cope with your child's emotions and special needs. It is the best resource I have found to date on SPD, and is like a textbook that you will refer to again and again.
