How much does stationery cost?

accreditation

It's the beginning of a new year and the biggest headache of a parent (who has a school going child) is that dreaded stationery list.

Parents tend to dole outs hundreds on stationery for the year, depending on what is included on your child's list (some schools require a tablet and ebooks) and also where they need to get them from.

If you are shopping around, here's what the average price range of the most common things you'll find on your kid's stationery list, with links to Takealot so you can compare brands.

Saving tip:

Buying stationery in bulk will help you save, sometimes quite a lot. Pair up with another parent or two, or start a stationery cupboard in your home so you have some for next year.
