"Oh look, a colouring book all about Kate Moss!" That was my exclamation at seeing this book featured in a fancy.com email. After having a peek at what the book was all about my colleague replied, "Do kids even know who Kate Moss is?"
I had to wonder the same thing.
The creator and artist behind the strange book, Mel Simone Elliott, encourages "you and your felt-tips to add warmth and light to Britain's favourite supermodel". I'm assuming this is aimed at children? Okay, I realise that designers and fashion lovers could take interest in the book too. But colouring books are for kids. Generally.
If it is aimed at kids it's rather disturbing that there is a topless picture of Kate Moss in the book too.
Mel Simone Elliott has a couple of other strange colouring books (including one of Ryan Gosling) and fun paper dolls (like this one of Adele).
