Teens are in a place in their lives where they are growing rapidly and if your teen is a sporty one then they need to have a good balanced diet. Before training or practicing, it's good for them to carbo load. It gives them the energy to make it all the way through without feeling faint.

We've rounded up some interesting recipes for you to feed them.

Breakfast

Cinnamon French toast

French toast is always a winner and with the added cinnamon-ey goodness it's sure to entice even the harshest of critics. The fresh fruit served on the side makes sure they get in their daily quota.

Pork sausage bake

If your teen is sick of chicken or fish, pork is a good alternative. It's tasty, easy to make and goes great with just about any side serving.

Banana, honey and apple smoothie

Top it all off with this delicious smoothie with all the ingredients to keep them going for the day.

Lunch or Supper options
