When two American teenagers saw a car swerving around on the road, they assumed the driver of the vehicle must be drunk.

When you really, really, really need to see grandma

But when Andrew Gonring pulled up next to the car, he got quite a surprise. Behind the steering wheel was a nine-year-old boy and his passenger was a little four-year-old boy, according to WISN.

The boy was reaching speeds of up to 70-miles-per-hour at one point and Andrew knew he had to stop them somehow.

He got a friend to help him and together they got the kid to slow down and finally to stop the car. The two teens called the police and it turned out the children had stolen the car after the owner had left the keys in the ignition.

What they told police was the best part: They were on their way to visit grandma at her house!

What's the naughtiest thing your kids have ever done?
