Your kid's winter jacket could be a safety hazard
Your child’s puffy winter jacket can actually put his life in danger when worn in a car seat.
Winter is here and most parents ensure that their children are warmly dressed when they take them out of the house and into the car.
But if your child is wearing a big puffy coat it introduces extra padding that compresses in a crash and that consequently creates gaps in harnesses allowing the baby or child to come partially or all the way through that harness.Read:Car safety for toddlersDog box danger
Your child can wear a lightweight fleece jacket or thin jacket to block the wind, anything that’s not too bulky and will create problems with the harness.
