Teen’s ‘cute’ mugshot goes viral

18-year-old Alysa has become the latest person to have their arrest mugshot go viral. According to her own Twitter account
, her arrest was related to the pharmaceutical drug Xanax, but she took to the social media channel to say that she’d surrendered herself to the police at 7am and been released at 11.30am, and, in what has become an infamous remark, she added “And my mugshot’s cute”.
She gets full marks for using the apostrophe correctly in her Tweet, but not too many bonus points for focusing on her appearance rather than her alleged crime.Self-empowered or selfishness in selfies?
Teens can be obsessed with the way they look; sometimes this obsession can lead to dangerous behaviour, such as taking selfies while driving or on the edge of a cliff, or adopting extreme diets and eating patterns.
Specialists have even commented that selfie-obsession is a form of narcissism

We won’t judge her for her alleged criminal activities as we don’t know what they are, but we’re pretty sure that if her parents are around they can’t be too happy about their “hottest mugshot contender”
