Where are the innocent teens?
This self-proclaimed old-fashioned mom was shocked at what teens are getting up to!
I picked my son up from school yesterday and had to wait a while as he was late. It gave me time to observe the boys and girls and the antics that they were up to.

There's definitely not a sedate holding of hands for today's children. I watched in amazement as boys and girls draped themselves around each other, hugging and in one instance the girl had been picked up by the boy and had her legs wrapped around his waist! And all of this was taking place on the school grounds!

What has happened?

Is it because of the media? The fact that children have access to television, computers and magazines that don't leave much to the imagination?

I've heard people say that parents must monitor their children - this I know is true and I hope that I have taught my children right from wrong. But when bombarded with all this information, and the pressure from their peers, how does a child know how to say NO?
