Frances Bean Cobain claims Courtney Love is a pet-killer.
Courtney Love killed daughter Frances Bean Cobain’s pets, according to The Fix. A series of interviews with Love revealed the accusations by Frances Bean, daughter of Love’s late husband, Kurt Cobain.
Love, who has wrestled with long-term drug addiction, allegedly caused the deaths of the family cat and dog. The cat was supposedly crushed under a pile of hoarded odds and ends, while the dog ingested some of Love’s pills. The accusations formed part of a successful injunction requesting a restraining order between Frances and Courtney. The restraining order also prevents Courtney from contact with Frances’s dog, Uncle Fester.
Most parents have moments when they feel inadequate (or downright terrible), but Frances Bean Cobain is definitely a childhood casualty of her mom’s addiction, an addiction which makes the average parent’s mistakes (forgetting sunscreen, kissing your kid goodbye in front of his friends) pale in comparison.
