According to research, the TV ads your children are seeing while watching their favourite shows could be a reason they're eating badly.
With more than one in six children and teenagers being obese (according to the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention), there are many factors that play a part. America alone spends more than $110 billion every on fast food. And nearly a third of American youngsters eat fast food on any given day.
Advertising fast food works, as shown in a study that found kids watching cartoons ate 45% more snacks when they were exposed to food ads instead of ads for other products.
