Dad shoots daughter’s laptop over Facebook post

Angry father films retaliation to daughter’s Facebook post by shooting her laptop.

After his daughter attempted to post a secret message on her Facebook page complaining about her chores, her livid father filmed an eight-minute response to her complaints, and, dramatically, shot her laptop. The video has since attracted over 20 million views on YouTube.

The video has prompted an online war between parents applauding his actions and teens crying foul, according to Time.

The estranged father and daughter are now on speaking terms again, and attempting to patch together their relationship in the midst of a media frenzy.

In case you're wondering, the father wasn't spying on his daughter's Facebook page, or attempting to hack into it, but stumbled on her private note when he logged in as the family dog, which also has a Facebook page.

Why not watch the video, and see what you think about parenting, cowboy-style.
