"My father raped me"
Former beauty pageant star accuses her father of raping her as a child. [VIDEO]

Brie Lybrand’s spine-chilling video is going viral: The former beauty pageant star and “New Orleans Beauty Guru” takes to YouTube to accuse her father of allegedly raping her between the ages of 4 and 13, according to HuffPost.
"My father, Steven Bressler, molested, tortured and raped me from the time I was four until I was 13 years old."
The heartbreaking video is devastating: Brie confronts her father who has just subscribed to her YouTube channel, describing her childhood agonies and the alleged abuse of Brie’s mom. There’s a shock at the end where she shows how she intends on protecting herself, but we’re guessing that the father concerned is unlikely to come near his daughter ever again:
"I carry guns everywhere I go in case you decide to show up... You're never going to touch me again."
This is yet another instance of rape survivors using the internet as a means to fight back and reclaim something of what was taken from them.
It’s graphic and harrowing, but take a look:
Do you think the internet is a good place to confront the past?
