R4 million for teen sisters' 18th birthday party!

accreditation
A typical 18th birthday party normally consists of a house party, a small dinner amongst friends or even an exciting night out, but to spend as much as £250,000 for one night of remembrance is hardly worth it.

Well these girls’ parents definitely thought  to spare no expense, even if it was only to mark their 18th birthday celebration.

According to Dailymail, the Essex sisters birthday extravanganza was filled with high profile guests, lavish gift bags and even performances by popular DJs and rapper, Professer Green.

The birthday extravaganza also featured fireworks and an over the top performance by the Cirque du Soleil acrobats.

Guests arriving at the girls' Essex mansion were met by fire-breathing models before being chauffeured through the grounds of the house to a £60,000 (R 952 000) marquee, where along with an appearance from the Hackney musician, party-goers were treated to a fireworks display and cocktails including the Porn Star Martini - a blend of Krug champagne, Ketel One vodka and Passoa passion fruit liqueur.

The Ibiza - themed bash was the work of A-list party planner Steven Duggan, who counts Simon Cowell and Elton John amongst his clients.

According to Duggan, the event was one of the most extravagant he has worked on to date and took four people working around the clock for a month to pull off.

'We had more than 90 props of all different shapes and sizes in the marquee, from giant carousel horses to lollipops, large Venetian masks and candy cane rolling hills with chocolate fountain tables that offered 40 different types of sweet,' he revealed.

'Parents are investing more into their teens parties at the moment,' adds Duggan who says he's asked to do between three and four large scale teen parties a year.

And the parents of the lucky Essex teens aren't the only ones happy to splash out. Another of Duggan's parties made headlines during the summer after it was revealed that he had masterminded a £70,000 first birthday party for a set of twins that featured an Alice in Wonderland meets Peter Pan theme and boasted a troupe of top-end children's entertainers.

Would you go this far for your teen’s 18th birthday bash?
